A little bit about me...
Hi, I'm Grantis Peranda and grew up in Santa Cruz CA and participated in color guard since middle school, throughout high school, and later in DCI & WGI. I've performed in many world class ensembles. I've coached guards across the country and pride myself in bringing teams to competitive success.
I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree with a minor in Dance from Providence College. I first worked as a public school teacher, and later in IT at Santa Clara University where I also earned my MBA.
I enjoy giving back to this activity in different facets: I served WGI as part of their Future Leaders Program, was on the Educational Committee for the California Color Guard Circuit, and served on the Color Guard Committee for the Northern California Band Association.
Also, I just came back from traveling the world! I was a backpacker in Southeast Asia, Europe, and Latin America for 1.5 years. It was an AMAZING trip that gave me lots of ideas artistically.
With all my experience it is my hope to bring out the best in any group I work with.
